EMERGENCY has treated over 12 million victims of war, landmines and poverty. With your help, we can do even more.

EMERGENCY provides free, high-quality, long-term sustainable healthcare around the world. Every minute, a patient is treated by EMERGENCY, but there are still so many more people that need our help.

Since 2020, ISHKAR has been generously raising funds to help support EMERGENCY’s work in Afghanistan. In 2021, they raised over £80,000 to help fund EMERGENCY’s projects during the most challenging circumstances.

Now EMERGENCY’s role in Afghanistan is even more critical.

So this year ISHKAR wants to surpass 2021’s fundraising total to show that we cannot turn our backs on Afghanistan when need there is so high.

All funds raised by ISHKAR will go towards EMERGENCY’s projects across Afghanistan, helping build more hospitals and clinics, train more Afghan people to be medics, and treating more people in need of free, high-quality healthcare.

Donating to EMERGENCY will help people in Afghanistan both for today, and for years to come.

Here’s the difference your support could make:

£25 is enough to pay for the medicine a newborn hospitalised child needs in EMERGENCY’s Anabah Maternity Centre’s Neonatal Intensive Care Ward in the Panjshir Valley.

£50 a month is enough to train a local Afghan nurse at EMERGENCY’s Surgical Centre for War Victims in Lashkar-Gah and Kabul.

£625 is enough to run one of EMERGENCY’s First Aid Posts in remote areas across Afghanistan for a week.
